Why this research matters

Too often, women are left to navigate aging, menopause, and physical change without clear, credible, and culturally relevant guidance. Alexia’s work aims to help close that gap by translating research into insight that can actually support daily life.

Public scholarship

Alexia’s broader vision is not to keep research confined to academic spaces, but to ensure it reaches and meaningfully serves the communities at the center of the work. She is deeply committed to translating thoughtful, evidence-based research into accessible, engaging, and trustworthy communication through speaking, media, writing, and digital platforms. Her goal is not only to produce scholarship, but to help individuals and communities better understand, apply, and benefit from the research intended to support their health, well-being, and quality of life.
